PPL & LAPL training
One-to-one training for the Private Pilot's Licence on our Piper Cherokees, ground school and exam fees included. The LAPL takes a minimum of 32 flying hours; the PPL, 45.

Midland Air Training has been at Coventry Airport since 1972, flying from the Airpark Flight Centre beside the Midland Air Museum. Some things haven't changed: you train one-to-one, you pay for your flying time, and ground school and exam fees are included. Open five days a week from 9am.

Midland Air Training has flown from Coventry Airport since 1972. It is owned and run by Ron Walker, and approved to train pilots for the LAPL and Private Pilot's Licence.
A few minutes after take-off on your trial lesson, your instructor hands you the aircraft with the three words every pilot remembers: you have control. From that moment on, you are flying it.
